Strange Escapes Presents
Ghosts of Waverly Hills
May 11th-14th, 2023
Known as one of the most haunted places on earth, Strange Escapes is pleased to announce our first ever trip to the infamous Waverly Hills Sanatorium.
Built initially in 1910 to house 40-50 tuberculosis patients, Waverly Hills eventually expanded to hold as many as 400 patients at a time and saw tens of thousands of people take their last breath within its walls. Closed in 1961 and repurposed as a nursing home in 1982, the building has loomed empty since. Now, visitors can expect to encounter phantom footsteps, shadow figures, disembodied screams and more.
Join Strange Escapes for a three night retreat filled with unforgettable parties, lectures, workshops, and of course, real paranormal investigations of Waverly Hills.
